Christmas Movies

I was at Superstore today and they had He-Man & She-Ra's Christmas Special on DVD for $5! I haven't seen that show for years but loved watching it. Another one I miss is Christmas Comes to Pacland, I watched it on You-Tube last year but would still like to find a DVD. Does anyone else have any favorite Christmas specials of the past? Sorry I know it's a long way until Christmas yet but the foot of snow we got this week-end reminded me that it is coming.

The Star Wars Christmas Special. I watch it every year a couple of times over. Of course, I make sure I'm drunk when I do. Don't even try watching it sober.

yeah mine too. we will watch it SEVERAL times. Did I mention that's per week lol?

As a family we also watch the live action Grinch a lot too. Might let them watch National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation this year too I can't recall how appropriate it is. Watched it too many times to know lol.

Sounds terrible, I'm going to have to try and find it!

Ever since I was a kid and got to watch "a christmas story" which had questionable content for me at the time I loved it. Sooo funny. Also National Lampoons Christmas Vacation....both classics.

The only classic I like is Frosty the Snowman with Jimmy Durante narrating it. That and White Christmas with Bing Crosby.

Yeah, I'm showing my age....

Wil Ferrel in "ELF" is quite good for family....

A few that come to mind

Jingle All the Way
The Santa Clause
Jack Frost

Skimmer Juice 11-27-2013 02:21 AM

The Flintstones xmas
The Jetson's Xmas
Rudolph (the OG one)

It's a Wonderful Life is probably my favourite all-time Christmas movie.

I did like this one. thanks for reminding me.

My kids have been watching Rudolph over and over lately. They are 4 and 2yrs old. It brings back some memories for me but I looked into when the movie was made and it was 1963. Amazing special effects (stop motion) for that time period I bet. The fact that my kids are watching it and my parents probably watched it as kids is a testament to the classic that movie is.

This is our family tradition movie...we all get together to watch this each year. In my mind, the best Christmas movie of all time. Though my 2 year old might disagree.

+1, not only is this one of the best x-mas/holidays movies ever but it is also simply one of the best films ever; it's in the AFI top 100! Anytime of the year, if you ever feel depressed, this is the ultimate cheer movie :)
