I thought we'd discussed this once before. Anyways I'm reading it on advice of a friend and I'm not even into the book yet, but already, on page 53, I'm finding myself crying. This author is really amazing.

pardon my ignorance but what is it? :confused:

I started reading the book, I got 40 or 50 pages into it and it left me untouched and uninterested, I gave up on the book.

supposedly M. Night Shamalyn, is doing that for his next project..... atleast thats what i heard.

so no one's going to tell me what it is? I realize it's a book but more info please :confused:

Never heard of the book before now

I loved this book doesnt get interesting fast though. It is about a boy who get marooned on a boat with a zebra with a broken leg, a hyena, an orangatan, and a tiger. Eventually the tiger eats everything but the boy and the boy has to survive. Such a good book i want to read it again.

However, what Doo-E said about the plot is all listed on the back cover of the book. Not really a spoiler.

Having said that, I was a little dissapointed as I got into the book proper. A little too literary/poetic, not enough deep questioning and such as I think I expected. Still a good read though, and light.
