Trout fishing (Edmonton)

Planning to take my boy out for trout fishing at Hasse Lake today. But the advisory said the lake got poison from blue-green algae. Is any know place(s) around town for trout fishing?

Muir lake is good, no live bait though.

Any clues how to get there?

Thank you. I got the google map. Is there a lot of fish there?

I have caught lots over the past few years in the 4-5lb range.

Ashland dam west of Warburg is good for the kids. Lots of hammerhandles

I lied. No fish.

That sucks, now I feel bad for the recommendation.

Don't feel bad. Weather is too hot that's why is not.

Bad day fishing is still better than a good day at work :D
