Anyone have experience with a Klunzinger's Wrasse??

i have only seen 2 of these in the past 3 years..and I saw one at Blue world last sunday! It looks like a great fish for a semi agressive tank (was in with a rainbow wrasse, purple tank and jawfish). Plus they are beautiful!

does anyone have any information on these guys besides the normal, will go after your crabs and snails?!

They swim nonstop. Aside from color, they are more or less the same as any other Thalassoma -- which is to say they will eat your ornamental crustaceans and may become belligerent with age.

Pisces in Calgary has one at the moment, nice fish but $200, and likely a jumper.

There may be a very good reason for that.. I've owned quite a few Thalassoma's and as Alberta suggested, they are pretty much all WRASSEHOLES.
