help identifying a prodct

Hey all, just wondering if anyone can tell me what the fitting used here is called. I am looking at the black fitting that the bracket is attached to. It appears to slip and tighten over the clear pipe and have a nut on the bottom that a bracket could be attached to.

I figure it is a common part as I have seen them used in several places.

thanks in advance for help

It's a probe holder. About 10 bucks, last time I bought one.

I am just looking for the name of the fitting that the probe holder is attached to.

Right. Like the black pieces here?

Its usually a type of cord grip that they use as the probe holder.

I got mine from a local aquarium shop. They ordered it in for me.

Yeah.. Its a strain relief.
Any electronics shop will have tons of sizes of them. They are generally used to secure cables.

WindowMaker 02-23-2012 09:39 PM

Apparently they are more commonly known as a wire gland

Strain relief or Cable gland.
Did you find some?
