It all depends on your available space. I have a 90g and I wanted a completey enclosed system so the largest size I could put in my stand was about a 25g. Now that I am plumbing it the basement, I will have a 25g Refugium and a 40g and 33g sump connected with another refugium in one of the sumps. But I agree that you should go with the largest size you can.

That gives me a good Idea I might have to rip out my shelves. I was just wondering because I was scrounging around my moms this weekend and found my old turtle tank I made when I was a kid it in the 20g+ range and fits nicely under my shelf in my stand.

Just a thought, someone at a LFS told me once that reptile tanks were built differently, didn't have the silicone structure for an aquarium.

I made it myself trust me when I was a kid I used so much silicone my dad got mad at me it will hold led if it needed to.
