help need aptasia eater
 

moved some rock today anb found a lot of the little buggers so any one out there with a copper band that is eating it or some pepermint shrimp i would be interested in buying that would be great

aquarium illusions just got a big shipment of peppermint shrimp

i have a huge outbreak of aptasia as well. i was thinking of boiling all my rock and cleaning out my whole tank ( including boiling the sand) an cleaning the tank with vinegar water. my fish i can put in another tank for a little while when i do this but what can i do with my corals? coral bath? will that get rid of the little buggers?

or should i just get a whole schite load of peppermint shimp?

Go to BLUE WORLD!!! They have a tank full of voracious Aiptasia eating Peppermint Shrimp.

fjsman was selling off a bunch of peppermint shimp about a month ago. He might have some left. I picked up a few to clean out my sump. They do a great job. Just make sure not to feed them until all the pests are gone.

I battled mine with a matted filefish I had litterly over 1000 aptasia to him 6 months but they are all gone now :mrgreen:

Yup #2 on the matted filefish best destroyer ever and so ugly their cute :D
