thnx psuedo
i like the clean look  also its a 10g |
What type of anemone do you have in there?
|
Wow  that's a really great looking 10gl you have there Kato
Pretty darn good for a rookie I would say  A friendly tip though, in ideal conditions green star can spread like wildfire  , so if you don't want all your rock and glass covered by them in a year from now be choosey on were you place them  I used to keep mine on a single rock placed on the sandbed, that made it harder for them to mat onto other rocks or the glass. You could also place smaller rocks beside the main colony in order to have them spread in a controlled manor. Also as this is the first post I have seen from you, welcome to to Canreef  there's lot's of great local and eastern( ) reefers on this board who will be here to help you along the way  |
thnx for the heads up and suport sumpfinfishe i need all the help i can get
any other comment good or bad are welcome |
Kato,
I know your just starting out, so by no means don't think that I was dis'n your reef, as it really looks great. Green star polyps are just one of those beautiful corals that you have to use alittle caution with that's all. My best advice for a newbie is, RBYB=research>before>you>buy  Knowing the most about a coral or fish before you place it into your tank is a great practise. Your tank looks good and your here, so I think your starting off on the right "fin" |
What is the height of that tank  , it looks like it is taller than the 12" height of a normal 10 gallon. I know a AC Mini is six inches tall. Maybe the angle the photo was taken at is fooling me
Maybe you could post it in the nano tank section of the board  , it just has been quiet in there for a while that is all. |
Sumpfinfishe I didn’t consider that a dis in any way I REALY appreciate all the help. I guess I just didn’t write that very well
Any yes rcipema its just a standard hagen 10g tank also does any1 have any idea why my zoos are acting this way? i placed them up a bit higher but they are not opening and look like they are peling their skin.. |
