Did you look at Saltwater Connection? He has some of his own reasonably priced.

the workmanship's quality on that reactor is really poor
noticed few cracks here and there

Unfortunately a reactor is one of the higher prices toys you can buy. After the tank, reg, valves, and the reactor, you don't have much left for beer!!
I think if you can get a good system for $500 or less, you are damn lucky!

i have talked to few people on the board 'bout diy ca reactors and with ev'rything included price will run up around 500
