UPDATED
Instead of selling off my collection of zoas I'm going to make some room else where in the tank so I need to sell a few things.

Red Goniopora (About 6 inches across when fully expanded when shriveled its about the size of two large golf balls)- $60.00
http://img6.imageshack.us/img6/5081/dscf9393.jpg

Acan Bowerbanki (LARGE polyps)- This is an actinic shot Single Polyp on the bottom $45.00

Red and Green Micromusa Colony (100 + Polyps)- $70.00

Massive Metallic Green star polyp colony (This thing is about the size of a soccer ball but its now chopped in 2 pieces)- $60.00

Also have a rock with a type of Pink/ Purple chalice and some green start polyp growing (Appx 2 pound piece of LR)-$40.00
and a 5 inch metallic green elegance coral- $50.00

Take em all for $250.00 or trade me some SPS frags.
***Gonipora and the acan might be sold

The word "Indecisive" pretty much sums up my life, I think I will be keeping the zoas and selling off various other stock (LPS and softies) but will post whats for sale right away here. If anyone has some good SPS frags I'm in the market (Will be making a trip to gregs house in the near future I'm sure)

levi, keep some of your nicer stuff and just thin things out abit.

like previously posted, keep the SPS up high and the zoas low.

it would be a cool mixed tank.

Levi i thought you quoted that you couldn't keep SPS and zoas in the same tank.

gobytron 12-07-2009 04:41 PM

hey man, do you have any full tank shots of your zoa colony tank?

I looked in your album but couldn't find any.

I've always wanted to see what a zoa focused tank could look like...

Yes Devan but I think someone here is going to buy me a second phosban reactor and some high grade carbon for Christmas .

Normally I would say that zoas and sps a ok but with an inordinate amount of zoas, and so many different species of them to boot I would definitely play it safe with some carbon....Zeovit reputably has very hight grade product(I use black diamond though).

With carbon though I would be more worried about overzealous zoa growth doing damage to sps than chemical excretions.

nice FTS, I'll def check back for another.
