Woohoo!!!! Felicia is officially 1 years old today!!!

I've been anticipating this day for a while now. My baby girl is finally one years old. Woohoo!!! Gotta enjoy it while I can cause before I know it, she'll be asking for the car keys and forgetting about hanging out with dear old dad. For now, she's still Daddy's little Princess so she's gonna party like onehttp://bcaquaria.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

Have well over a hundred family & friends coming over for a HUGE bbq/birthday party for my baby girl. Lots of work getting this place ready after living at my mom's for most of the year. Spent a whole schwack of cash on food, drinks, supplies, & a portable garage tent thingy to cover the deck.

But she's worth it!!!http://bcaquaria.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

Just the food alone was a whole lot of work prepping.

Got:

65-70 lbs of chicken chopped & absorbing 3 different marinades (including satay).
15 lbs of pork tenderloin
1 whole roast piglet (thanks - Dad)
2 whole ducks (Irene's mom)
20 lbs of salmon/steelhead fillets for cedar plank salmon
fried noodles (mom)
fried rice (mom)
potato salad (sis-in-law)
macaroni salad (sis-in-law)
2 green salads (sis-in-law)
100 veggie skewers (friend)
150 curry puffs
8 bags of assorted chips
$100 worth of juice, punch, pop, and iced tea

Now to get some rest before the all day cooking on three bbqs begins.

Fired up the 3 bbqs at 10:45am and stopped around 8:45pm. Lots of fun, good food & great company. Sooooo much left over although we managed to wolf down most of the whole roast piglet (over 3' long too).

Felicia had a great time and didn't cry once, even though she was passed around, carried, and kissed by over 100 guests, family members & friends. That's one well socialized little princess.

Anthony
