Need two. SE for 400watt MH. Don't know what I am looking for but just not the crappy "U" shaped reflectors.

Bump...just thought I would ask one more time if anyone has any of the mogul Lumenarc reflectors for sale before I go ahead and order new ones today? It would be nice to save a little money right now

Where is the best place to order them BTW? I was planning to order them from the states but are they sold anywhere in Canada for a good price?

I did a search of old post for "lumenarc" on this site.

It seems that Lumenarc III's maybe available from J&L...... but are not on their website.

These US site had some good reviews.

There is also mention that Lumenmax is quite similar and is available in Canada at many shops. I'm not sure how they stack up to Lumenarcs though.

Cheers,
Vic

Thanks Vic, I will check out the links. Yeah I had thought J&L had the Lumenarcs but I don't see them. I did find them at one place so far but IMO a bit overpriced. So I am going to keep looking. Thanks!

EDIT: WAY overpriced when you compare to the links you gave me...wow. Seems like the price is about $130 ($115 on sale) down there and closer to $200 here. Jeez.

Hey gsp check with denis cause when we were there he mentioned he had 2 brand new lumenbright or lumenmax pendants....

Denis 01-02-2009 09:18 PM

Yup,
I got 2 Lumen Bright 3 reflectors and one Lumenarc III
I paid $147 (with taxes) for each of the LB3s, so I could let then go for $110 each.
The LA3 I got from J&L, it was about same (can't find the receipt at the moment).
Update: I paid $179 for the LA3, will let it go for $150.
I'm not gonna take big loss on these as they're brand new still in box.
I also got dual PFO 400W HQI ballast.
Cheers.

I suggest you look into the Lumen Bright pendants.

Here is a great thread, split 3 times, check out the last 10-15 pages.

If your going to mount a Lumenbright in a canopy, it better be a tall canopy they recommend something like 16" inches from the water., but they are are getting good reviews

I'd also check into the Lumenmax Elite, another good one and may be more suited to shorter canopies.

Yeah you know I was just looking at that. They are already quite "tall" too. I don't think they are even going to fit my canopy :(

I think the Lumenarc mini's are the only ones that will.

Denis I PM'd you about the LB3's but I have to figure out if they would even fit.
