My new spinning output w/ VIDEO**

So here's my new output... the force/direction of the water spins the outputs around.

I had a lil video but it won't load.

I know both pics look like the output is in the same spot but that just happen by chance

Oh you mean of the spinning tip... I just bought it $25 at Ocean City in calgary

superduperwesman 08-30-2008 06:38 AM

It spins fairly fast

Tigerarmy 08-30-2008 03:20 PM

I bought one of those too. mine doesn't spin all that fast and I foudn the flow was minimized quite a bit by it.

superduperwesman 08-30-2008 03:31 PM

I mean it's not a boat prop or anything but it spins at a good rate. My tank is only 16 gallons so I find it works pretty well. I'd also be worried if my flow was any less minimized by it... i already have to postion the tips very carefully or it will pray my light/out of the tank

Thats crazy your fish is going to get smoked in the head.
You should put in a small piece of live rock to seed some coraline into your tank.

That's wild--like a carnival ride for your fish! Seems like it gives some nice turbulence. Can you pile some rock in front or something so you don't have to look at it--might be a bit distracting?

Regards,
Nevin
