First person (non-supplier) to own one in Western Canada?
|
OK where did he come from, and why am I so jealous? :)
I can't wait to get one myself, that looks like a nice healthy specimen. |
Andrew, I got it from that Portland (from the URL I posted). I was planning to make a drive down there if I had to, but luckily I found a friend who went down there for business and he was kind enough to bring it back for me yesterday.
She has 4 more of these in bigger sizes. $125 USD and up though I think. http://www.hyperdream.com/~samw/reef...72_img_std.jpg |
Ouch, that is a lot of bones for an Anemone. I don't ever see myself spending $200CDN on any livestock in my aquarium, it's just not in my budget.
But that's a great looking BTA. Hopefully I can get a split locally in the coming months to add to my tank? Keep us posted with growth/color photos in the coming weeks. |
Awesome!
So now you have one too! Your rose will be worth every penny you spent on it not only because it is beautiful, but because the split was from a mother who divides quite frequently! So you will have loads of babies to sell
I wish I could say the same, but I do not know where my rose came from as I bought it from a LFS and never bothered to ask what the source was. So now I have a 14" rose BTA and no split in sight  Please post pics as she grows as it really is amazing how quickly they get huge. J |
Yes, I have a feeling that before long, we'll have lots of Rose BTA's in the Lower Mainland. I'm sure you won't have to wait much longer Andrew.
The lady that I bought it from just had another split yesterday so she has 5 for sale again. |
Nice score there Sam. Put me on your waiting list too! Hehe, I know I know, I will be waiting a longg time I'm sure. ... ;)
|
Tony, that is too funny....
Where would you or I put another anemone... |
