Looks great Marc. So nice and cleanly done. More fishroom shots??
And of course a shot of the front of the tank? Christy :) |
Nicely done Marc. Is this a new system?
What Christy said. |
Sam and christy,
It is a new system, its 525g with a 370g sump. It is a plywood and epoxied tank, with external full length overflows. The viewing panes (1 side and a face) are 3/4" starphire. There are 3 -6000 gph sequence pumps as system feeds and 2 are closed loops each with 4 way ocean motions for current. Jamie and i have been working on both these systems for almost 2 yrs now...been a long process, Im finally seeing the light now, ill keep it updated. It is still being stocked and the viewing walls still being finished, ill try and get a few more of it for you tonight. Marc. |
looks nice man.

|
Thanks all, kinda makes all that work worth while.
Christy, ill post a couple of the face as soon as i get a little more in it...but its lovley looking rock and water  Its actually not that bad to work on, the tank was designed to have no bracing that would get in the way... heres a couple with the canopy slid out of the way. http://www.canreef.com/photopost/dat..._equip_084.jpg http://www.canreef.com/photopost/dat..._equip_086.jpg The Canopy is quite big, so it needed a track system to slide it back out of the way to work on. Heres a couple of pics showing it sliding through the wall into the nwxt room. The Canopy is also ducted with inline fans to outside, so there is like a rubber boot that slips in when canopy is in place. Jason, Flex can be purchased at most irrigation outlets or spa tub places. http://www.canreef.com/photopost/dat...etails_168.jpg http://www.canreef.com/photopost/dat...etails_169.jpg http://www.canreef.com/photopost/dat...etails_170.jpg Marc. |
