How will it do under VHO?

I am interested in adding a few more SPS frags that are less light intensive. If it'll grow under VHO, I'm interested Darren.

Yes that monti would be a good choice for the vho set up probably one of the best choices.

Considering that Jamie has extensive experience with SPS corals (and I suspect probably grew the coral that Darren has), I'll take that as gospel.

Darren, consider it sold. We'll make some arrangements to get together. Are you interested in trading for a couple mushrooms? Or how about a piece of Colt Coral for your sister's tank?

It's actually one I bought from Animal House and was one of Marc's when he got rid of his frag systems.

I'll trade ya the smaller of the two for a colt frag. Sister is looking for more softies now that she can look after them.

Hey Darren,

Can the Colt corals just be cut like Xenia? If so, where on the stalk should I cut the frag from, or does it matter?

I'll cut you a nice piece and try to head over in the afternoon either tomorrow or Wednesday.

Yes it can be cut like that.. where I removed pieces from my tank it was growing back from itty bitty pieces left on the LR.
