A tale of 3 chromis!
Disclaimers:
This is a review (in a different way) of the order I placed with kraken reef. This has been my first online fish order and (despite some bumps which were handled efficiently by Makco) I am very pleased with this order :) Please ignore any spelling mistakes. I am suppose to work on my grad thesis but instead spent time on this  http://i1304.photobucket.com/albums/...ps4e33268d.jpg http://i1304.photobucket.com/albums/...ps844a08c0.jpg http://i1304.photobucket.com/albums/...ps66e6a6ff.jpg http://i1304.photobucket.com/albums/...psd151d86b.jpg http://i1304.photobucket.com/albums/...ps3d3daa90.jpg http://i1304.photobucket.com/albums/...psed38bc86.jpg http://i1304.photobucket.com/albums/...ps510dd9ec.jpg http://i1304.photobucket.com/albums/...pscaff5e03.jpg http://i1304.photobucket.com/albums/...ps3ec1242e.jpg http://i1304.photobucket.com/albums/...ps44719c49.jpg |

Glad you got your fish. Maybe next time for me, cause two don't make a school!

Hopefully there will be more again soon. And during a warm spell vs -40°c. Steve, how are yours fairing? |
Also wondering how your guys' chromis's are doing? Seeing any aggression towards other fish? Or are they in hiding?
|
And the chomises are reunited and started schooling with each other!
(Sorry for the bad pic; took it with cellphone before leaving the house) http://i1304.photobucket.com/albums/...ps05ed94a7.jpg |

They ate while I was acclimating them in a bucket which was an initial good sign. After releasing them in the tank, my hawkfish started showing them who's the boss there; didn't beat them up (which he could have done easily) but just chased them to separate caves. But right afterwards the initial chase game, I fed the tank and all three would poke out of their caves and eat while the hawk would occasionally go after two which, unfortunately, were hiding in hawk's territory! Today morning, the three successfully found each other and hawk's aggression seems to have suppressed once they are together. So far so good :) |
