I was out last Wednesday as well, what a sloppy mess lower Mill Creek was. Where you run along the river between the Mutart and the golf course heading east was also a mud fest. |
Darn it all... I won't be able to get out for the next few days. My back-cracker (chiro) advised me not for a few days.
Just when the nice weather hits too... |
He's either a quack or he's a biker himself trying to get the trails all to himself. :p
Bummer man, but, yeah, guess don't mess with the back. Good luck, surely you'll be back at it in a week or so. |
Sorry to hear Ryan! Hope you get back on track soon too!
Might I ask where you ride in town? I know of some areas in the west end just east of callingwood... and a couple other crappy areas in the river valley, but thats about it. So I've logged about 6x 14km rides so far and 2x 8km rides (did one 14 and one 8 today). Its getting much easier to push harder each time. Going to start making them longer soon. Need to let me muscles get back into biking condition first though! |
So Tony was bragging about his day spent on Moose Mountain on Facebook the other day I was extremely hurt to have not received my invitation to ride with him. Must have gotten lost in the mail for it never arrived. I know I didn't miss the mailman, I waited on the front step all day.
I know a lot of us ride I think it would be pretty cool to get together at Moose Mountain one weekend next year. If anyone is interested from Edmonton I have room for four guys and four bikes and the gear. (I knew there had to be a good reason for me buying a station wagon!) I'm asking now to give everyone A LOT of notice.... A video Tony posted from Moose, looks like most of the obstacles have ride arounds for those not interested in hurting themselves! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ncEM7...feature=autofb I'll post this in the other thread too. |
