Oops. I thought the maximum size for the engineer goby was listed as 1". After reading your post I checked again and it was actually listed as 1'. I guess I won't be getting an engineer goby.

Ive seen them come in at 2". If they stayed this size they would be a great fish to have in the tank. But at adult size Engineer gobies can topple rocks that arent placed right on the bottom.

... so will large Triggers, large eels, large Wrasses.

I also added a new Wrasse. Turns out to be a Cebu Pylei Wrasse so that was a great score!

Ryan your tank is looking stellar man , lots of new stuff too, hows the wrasse doing are you thinking of getting some more of them,

Ryan 01-05-2012 05:08 AM

Thanks. Its definatly coming around but im not happy with the colors or coral health yet. Im sure its just a matter of time before everything settles in.

The wrasse has some stress spots on him as its only been 2 days in the tank. So far I really like him but I have read they can get fairly boisterous with the tank mates. Though I do still want to add a couple female mcCoskers, and a pair of Rhomboids. I would like this tank to have quiet a few flasher & Fairy Wrasses.

Wow, everything is looking great.
Flasher and Fairy Wrasses are a great choice.
How are your Tunzes working out for you after you sold the Vortechs?

Finally starting to see some color coming back to my sps. I have lost the Coral Master Super Grape Mille this week. Luckly I know where there is another if I decide to replace it.

Nice work on bringing some color back... real bummer about the super grape tho! Greg was over the other day and let me know that what I thought was a super grape (only after the transfer has it gotten enough light and gained some colour) is in fact NOT his super grape
