Is it possible now to run a Tunze Wave box in the latest version?
3.0.7.1 21.12.2007
If so how should I program it.
In the Extras - pumps Modes or waves

Yes it is

here is a copy of a post from another forum

Just to start a thread to help Wavebox users discard the Tunze controller that came with it!

At least I know the exact resonance value now! haha.

I've read someone's tank of 4' with settings 2s

Mine is 5' so here's the setup

5ft - 1.6s, 1-10v 0-100% Right Angled Short

its just my opinion but i think your life would be easier just sticking with the controller the wavebox came with and also it will keep from taking up a port on your controller

enter the values in "mode", "duration" and "waves" of the first pump group

the 1-10V-settings have to be done under "extras -> 1-10V-interfaces".
I recommend to set the voltages to Min = 3V and Max = 8V, then the voltage output is similar to the output of the original controller.

and last but not least: Its very helpful to read the manual closely, chapter "current" because we have a lot of options for the current simulation which can be set, many more like the original controller has.

no disrespect to matthias because he is an amazing help but like i said to make your life easier, just stick with the wavebox controller

why use the wavebox controller?

with only a photo-led? it turns off when light is not present.

with the profilux, we can even tune to a lower wave output!

my take, ditch the wavebox controller like me!

As said above

The ProfiLux tunze control features are way above anything you will get with the standard controller.

How much is the Tunze controller? $200? More ?

Tunze1 control cable = $10!!!

There is no comparison taking into acount far advanced control features and cost!

Does anyone know if it's safe to clean the calcium deposits from the PH probe with vinegar?

Aqua-Digital 01-21-2008 07:26 PM

Yes providing you rinse it well after
