Yes good idea. Perhaps sooner than later so the summer heat does not cause issues.

IMO he doesnt have alot that sparks my intrest right now, and I would like to wait for his next shipment, or his beginning of June shipment to have more to choose from. He said he gets 2 a month.

It sounds like he has no issue holding onto coral for us until we place another order, and I for one would like a better choice as it seems all the nice stuff from his Beginning of May order is gone ;)

If anthony cant receive the order, I can volunteer to receive it. I may not have a big tank but I have more then enough stuff here to keep the corals at an appropriate temp with out taking them out of the box and adding to their handling.

I will join the next order again, however I'd like to wait a bit for new corals and it cant be too long as summer will most likely be too hot for a coral shipment across Canada.

We only need $300 to get the shipping costs covered. I say we do another buy immediately and those that want to wait for more stock can do so.

He has the same stuff he did last time, whats the harm in waiting a little longer for him to actually get another new shipment in so those of us that need replacements have something to pick from?

For ppl like me who want only what what they ordered from last time. Since I'm not going to spend any new money how will that affect the $300 shipping limit?

I would ask for my money back or he can ship the frags he owes you...you shouldnt have to spend more money to get what you paid for in the first place.

This isnt against Burc specifically but you should get what you payed for....mistakes can happen but they should be corrected. Where can you order something specific...receive something completely different and than have to spend more money to get what you originally ordered?

well between him and I, from what the emails sound like my correct corals will be shipped ALONG with a future order so what I was getting at was is he going to count my orders $ towards the 300$ minimum.

Well somebody still has to order and spend money to get to this 300$ and I think for those of us who are willing to spend a little more money to get something else should be allowed the opportunity to wait for Burc to get more coral in.
The point is there are some of us who still want to order something, so why not put the replacement coral in the same box. But let us wait for more stuff to choose from! Im not saying August or something, but at least lets wait for the 2nd may order or even the first june order to come in before we finalize anything.

It's very unlikely that you'll ever get all the frags you ordered from Burc. I have done a few orders and every order had frags missing or other frags that were not ordered were sent to replace stuff he didn't have at the time the frags were shipped. One time he sent a big rock that had nothing on it....lol. All these orders happened within the last 6 months.

It almost looks to me that he doesn't send all the frags on purpose. This way people are forced to place another order to get the missing frags. The problem for me was that on that next order other frags were missing and it's basically a never ending story.


If I were you I would get my money back unless you enjoy gambling. If you order x frag thats exactly what you should get specially after he confirms that x frag is in stock.

...rewarding poor service with more business seems odd to me. perhaps it was a simple mistake and it will all work out in the end. I could be wrong of course...

Wonder how many times this needs to be said in the same thread before people stop saying it. We all know what were doing, gamble or not its still cheaper then LFS

from what i red Out of 13 orders only 2 were messed up one was a mix up n the other was a couple were doas

I admit that this hobby isn't cheap, but what's wrong with trying to find good deals? Following your logic, everyone who buys from the buy/sell boards is in the wrong hobby.

Ill take a chance on an order for about $100 worth, if not a bit more, if one is done before it gets too hot for shipping.

Im going to school soon in kelowna so i would like to order sooner then later or i won't be in town to get them

i love his LPS...that being said... everyone who comes over and looks at my acans can't believe that I got them all from burc!

I wanted like 5 frags from his last order and they were all gone before I got paid so i don't see the point in waiting when only a couple of us will prob get anything new anyway

I did not say EVERYONE had to wait, but it would be nice if some people did and you didn't come accross like you expect everyone to order right here right now just because youre leaving in 3 weeks. Sure we have to worry about the heat but Burc still gets 2 orders a month... Its not 40 out there yet.

People ordered what they liked from burcs site, what is the point in them doing another order right away if its still the same stuff on his site? Some of us want to wait, and I am not the only one who has said this.

If u have talked to peole who want to wait then great im sure u guys can come up with 300 last order was 1300 so can't be to hard. as for me I didn't order everything I liked or i woulda spent 200 bucks so i can't be the only one who wants stuff from what he currently has

Why don't the ones who want to wait.. Wait, and the ones who want stuff replaced right now ( without ordering additional) just split shipping and get it over with? Example 40$ shipping split between 3-4 people is squat.

Since I'm the first one to bltch when something goes wrong, I feel obligated to mention when it goes right.

I just got some anemones from Burc and the packing was awesome.. Triple bagged in a stryofoam lined box. The box was overnighted and at my door at 10am. the box was dry and I got exactly what and how many I ordered.

Email contact was very good, with the exception of a couple of days when he was MIA. He apologized and added a free nem as a token.
