U had to say that Aurghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

lol actually he hasnt touched anything yet the odd feather duster... just suspends himself in the water pretty mellow fishy...

Mrfish55 11-08-2009 02:37 AM

I take it you are obsessive compulsive when it comes to maintenance, that is the cleanest tank ever!

Skimmerking 11-08-2009 02:46 AM

thanks Dave lol it keeps my hands out of the tank. and impulsive buying too.

Mrfish55 11-08-2009 02:51 AM

I hear ya, I've sure spent my fair share this year, problem is the more time I spend with the tanks the more things I find to spend $$$ on, I am trying to keep the 750 nice and clean, but just a basic wipe down takes over an hour, someone had this brilliant idea to make the stand taller to fit the sump underneath and now all the maint. is done on a ladder.

kien 11-08-2009 03:24 AM

*drool*. Love those LPS.

I have that boxfish too and he doesn't bother anyone. I have tiny sexy shrimp that I suppose he could easily go for but he doesn't. He just surfs the upper current all day and seems to rather enjoy the free ride. Then dinner time comes and he's a maniac! Has to compete with the tangs and does a decent job at it.

tgoeujon 11-08-2009 03:40 AM

i tried a long horn box fish in my first tank and didnt have much luck ( he had a thing for softies and that was about all i could keep alive lol ) what type of box is in your tank, if he stays nice i may have to try again.

Skimmerking 11-08-2009 01:44 PM

he just a spotted yellow box

fishytime 11-08-2009 03:04 PM

I don't know, but I may jinx myself here with this. We Are looking at purchasing this house. its an old character house. its 2305 SQ GRUNT GRUNT. Nw I have a special room, my wife told me about since she is a realestate chicky, So once i get home from here we are going to look at it. It has Geothermal heating and a tandem Double Garage too.

The special room has French doors going into it and windows too. Im thinking of keeping the 150 gal or going to another type of tank like a cube 36x36x24 with the sump in the basement.
the doors to the right is the future fish room May be.
