Honestly, it's ok! You never know until you try something if it will work. I had read about using krylon paint but bec the tank is in the house, I didn't want to spray. I'm a messy painter so it seemed like a viable option.

The bf picked up some plumbing supplies yesterday but couldn't find everything so it wasn't going to get started anyway.

Please don't feel bad!!

I've done that before, you're right, it's not a good idea.

Well I will give it a try today, will cover everything and just take it slow! One problem I see is my jealous dog wanting to be in the thick of it

Bunch of errands and rv show today so will happen later.

Spray painting in the house is NOT a good idea....but it's done and must say I did a pretty good job! Realized today that there is black dust on every surface in the house. Good thing I'm playing hooky today, get it cleaned up before anyone notices!

About 10 years ago I sprayed the back of a 45 black in a small room of my apartment with the door shut and window open in winter. Crazy not-smart to put it politely... I wanted to contain the fallout to one room. Sounds like you at least spread the nasty around a lot more square footage which is a plus lol.

The tank is in the office/dining room, no doors. I covered the floor around the tank but didn't notice the dust till I went to bed. Had the window open but still gave everyone headaches....

Here's a question...to look at the tank, I can't see through it, but when a light is held behind it, I can a bit. Will this matter when the lights are hung?

I think that's very unlikely. It will be somewhat darkish/shaded behind the tank so my guess is you won't notice.

Perfect, thanks Brett!

Plumbing 90% complete

Plumbing started yesterday, few issues (main overflow into sump too short, emergency drain too long). Otherwise, thoughts?
