I'll relocate the car for you.

Truck + Tow Rope = Bye Bye.

They sure as hell won't be getting it back, cuz I won't take it to the impound.

Catherine,
Contrary to my previous post on Halloween ...intended to be in jest...one option is to go to the local Calgary Police Service District office and speak to the Community Liaison Officer for your area. They may be able to mediate this thing out without the difficulties relating to angst/anger/retaliation..
Will PM you.

Well the nice thing is that this morning there was no car or cars behind my garage. I appreciated not having to do multiple 3-point turns! I'm apprehensive about how long this will last, so I'm going to enjoy it for what it is! The amusing thing is that this saved me 5 minutes off my usual morning commute!

You just recently moved here right? If you didn't this post won't make any difference but if you did...
When we moved into a our "house" (that was 10yo), the neighbours dogs barked at everything. Windows and doors opening, you get the idea. Since we had dogs (basenjis - they dont bark ). This was a real problem.
When we talk to them after several weeks of just wanting to kill em. The owner went off on us telling us about how long he lived there (10years) and what @$$holes all the renters of that house had been blah blah blah, when we explained that we actually owned the place he became much more reasonable.
His dogs still bark, but he actually tells them to stop now. So part of your problem may be that the "bad car owners" are taking out previous frustrations on you... Of course I could be totally off base .

Time for some positive reinforcement then, what applies with dog training works with humans too . Go over after you get home and thank them saying how much you appreciate them not parking their car there
