What is that based on seeing everything was Private and AHS is still taking over services and equalizing hourly wage between different services. Meaning some places are being wage frozen?

Salary Range and Benefits
The rates quoted are in accordance with the collective agreement between the Amalgamated Transit Union Local 569 and the City of Edmonton. Current (2013) rates of pay are:
Training Rate - $20.65 per hour
Post Training Rate - $25.39 to $31.74 per hour
This is a permanent position with a probationary period of up to 6 months. Benefits will begin 90 days after your start date.
It may have been a little of an exaggeration but I believe the EMT starting wage is around 26$ an hour so it maybe not be more but its close!
