Tanks pics Oops, that was a PM. |

attempts Look do not feel bad. I came home the other day, with ½ my tank dismantled because my son and friend were trying to catch a fish I have been trying to trap for a while. They were hoping that they would be done by the time I got home. But there was a stoppage because one of them got stabbed by my urchin. I don`t know about you, but I have never been able to dismantle a rock pile and have it go back the same way it was before. Nothing seems to fit like it used to. End result, fish captured, after 6 accidental coral frags, displaced and relocated coral, and a bunch of unhappy tank residents. They are just starting to feel comfortable again, 3 days later. Getting back to my point, do not feel bad about your attempt, rock never seems to fit the way it used to. |

The new Red Sea Max 250. About a month after the transfer from my old 28 gallon AIO. http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/...m040Medium.jpg With my new Ecoexotic Stunner Strip (Thanks Martin from Modular LED!). The flourescence is incredible compared to the actinics on my old tank. http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/...m011Medium.jpg |

Is the black sand safe tho, I added some to my old reef tank years back and one day my cleaning magnet fell into the sand and when I picked it up there was a bunch of iron flake stuck to it. I researched the volcanic sand and it was very high in lead and iron content-not so good for a closed system. Hopefully yours is reef safe because it looks fantastic! |
