looking nice greg!
how on earth are you running a 6025 in there without it ripping everything to shreds? I tried putting one in my 28g nanocube and I found the the flow was far too strong. |

The 6025 is actually not running any more, I plugged it in for about 10 mins & pulled the plug. You are correct that it's way to much flow for the nano. I have a couple smaller pumps I am going to try out to see if I can get the flow rolling a little better. |
Well a few days late on my update but here it is anyways.
Not much new for fish livestock but added a few zoa colonies, some hammer & frogspawn heads. I thought I would see if I could get a few neat shots with just my blues on & they turned out not to bad, not professional shots but cool. http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/x...033A957D1E.jpg http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/x...03411C877B.jpg http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/x...0342BB200F.jpg http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/x...03461E4D79.jpg http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/x...0347B9FC3E.jpg http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/x...034A0CFC09.jpg http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/x...034B911C22.jpg http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/x...0346C36CFB.jpg |
Jan 15, 2013 Update
All right lads & ladies here is my Jan 15 update a few days early as I have no idea when work might take me on the 15th. Sadly due to a major fluctuation in my Salinity while I was away working for 3 weeks I lost the 4 fish I had in the nano but that issue has now been addressed with a proper ATO system & salinity is has been holding steady @ 1.025 for over a month now.
I will be looking to add some peppermint shrimp ( if I can find any in Edmonton ) as well as a few fish. I think I will add a few fire fish, a red scooter blenny and whatever else I find that catches thy eye. So with that said on with some pics: FTS http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/x...R/P1130076.jpg Top Down http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/x...715EF7CEB8.jpg Some Close-ups http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/x...R/P1130089.jpg http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/x...R/P1130092.jpg http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/x...R/P1130087.jpg http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/x...R/P1130077.jpg http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/x...R/P1130095.jpg More in just a few minutes............. |

looking great gregg!!!

Good job Greg, that second top down picture is amazing. That's too bad that you lost your fish, especially the green coral goby. I love those little guys.
