Thats good to know, thank you. So far its looking very happy in the tank, its already started to spread back over the rock it is on. Ill have to keep any eye on them as a quick read states that I may have trouble keeping this for an extended period of time.

My name is Tyson Bloom and I am addicted to zoas. 8 new frags came home with me today. Thanks to Doch for driving down to Edmonton to deliver 3 of them. Ill get some pics once they all open up... which some of them have.

So I was doing some night fishing in the tank to see how many bristle worms I could find when I noticed a little black a white snail cruising over my zoa's. A quick google search led me down the road of sundial snails, and their little trap door confirmed it. So pulled him out of the tank and noticed a couple wee little star fish, one with 5 legs and the other with 3. Asterina stars from what I can tell, but thats the end of the understanding. Ive read both views on this that they are harmless.... and that they eat zoas and maybe some sps. Just seeing if anyone else has any experience with them.

Thanks, I picked up 3 very nice frags from doch here on Canreef as well as a few from Ken and Blue World. It sounds as if he will be placing an order every 2 weeks from his supplier.

Thanks, tank is really starting to stabilize, not that its been an issue. I think the phosphates have finally leached out of that marco rock, most of the algae has receded back.
