So jealous :) Looks awesome. Do I see a mirror back glass on the overflow end ?

Actually the overflow end is a smoked glass...it will be buried in a cabinet so with the darker glass, you should see nothing.

The saddest part of this story is that this beautiful tank will have to be stored for a while rather than get water. My new house is behind and it's going in there as I have nowhere for it in my current town-home.

I'll do my best to keep this thread going with my preparations, purchases and the house build but the real build is a while away from now.:cry:

As with everything in this hobby, good things come to those who wait. Although it may not be the consolation you're looking for, just remember that every potential or actual purchase you make and record in this tank journal is going to be reviewed by all of us here at CanReef. Thankfully, all those equipment purchases and advice on equipment you may need won't be at the rushed apex of you trying to get your tank up and running.

Plus think about all those sweet equipment shots you're gonna take before the tank is even wet!
