BM-320CS CONE SKIMMER

I've a reef system with 250 gal total volume. Water quality is paramount to me. Now I run a EuroReef RS 250, but the pump is leaking current. Time to replace IMO. I'm thinking I want to oversize to a BM-320CS (same 1200 L/h air capacity as the RS 250). Can you quote me a price and is it in stock?

we can have a price for you by Monday ;)

Cant get any easier than that

Aqua-Digital 08-14-2010 11:43 AM

Just looking at models, I think the BM220cs would do you better, it has a far more powerful pump and would skim your tank dry of goop.

The BM320Cs uses the aqua bee 5000 where as the 220cs uses the eheim. For this is pump I would always rate the eheim higher.

The BM320Cs is rarely sold also, most clients opting for the 220Cs

I will get you price on both though.

Any word on when the BM 180 EX is coming to Canada?

Aqua-Digital 11-09-2010 12:06 PM

we are waiting for final release, but we want to see what it brings to the market first, as it only has two real design changes and I want to see if the Skimz SM161 offers a more modern and better option.

I've looked into the skimz pump as well and the SM161 is what I would need on my 120g. I'm just torn on the SM161 and the BM180-EX.

What are the MSRP's for these two skimmers?

Aqua-Digital 11-09-2010 04:38 PM

The SM161 is $399-$449 price not 100% set yet due to not having import costs
and
The BM180CS-EX is $499

We will be getting reviewers signed up soon for the Skimz range.

Ok thank you AD.

Would love to see some reviews of Skimz as they are pretty much nonexistent at this point in time.
