You know, I have a HUGE metal box here on the outside of my shop. 8'x10' outside, lined with 18,000W of electric heat. It's my Powdecoat bake oven. Iv'e been waiting for over 3 years for the police..... Guess maybe I COULD start growing hahaha

I used to see the meter reader coming down the road. I'd go out and crank the oven on. The meter spins like mad when thats on. Just waiting to see if they say anything...

I can't compete anymore.
I should find a nice little town where I can start a new Hardcore Reefers Club.

Hmmmmmm. President of the "Buttville Hardcore Reefers Club."
Kinda has a nice ring to it.

They got nothing on you and your "innovative" ways to clean your aquarium..

IO is only $40 a bucket and I can get a deal thru the local shop from time to time, I am not worried about the slab, the house was built by an Italian 50 years ago, looks like he intended on building 50 stories high, the basement walls are almost 12" thick.

Pics later, just taking lunch break, wall is comming apart as we speak.

Today's progress, plan has been changed allready, originally I was going to close in a 6x12' section (leaving 2' around the tank for access) then I got to thinking how much time I spend behind the reef tinkering so the room is now going to be 8x22' there will be 2 1/2' on one side, 4' behind (12" sits inside the wall) and 11 1/2' on the other side (room for a comfy chair and beer fridge:biggrin:) Waiting on the quote from the welder for the stand, have to work tomorrow, more progress on Wed. here are a few reno pics to please the photo junkies.

Here is the window that is comming out

Are you getting a permit etc or is this a 'just do it'?

I'd love to just start tacking walls to the outside of my place but at the same time I'd love to stay married since nobody else will put up with me! I'm going to enjoy this...keep the build MOVING!
