The raised platform so I don't have to bend over is supported by large cement blocks. I should have got a steel framed one built instead.

all built from what I had and collected so lots I would change but overall its ok.I would love a new skimmer with small footprint.bigger sump would be good also

Here's my entry... Not nearly half as nice as most of the sumps here but it works. Been thinking of a sump upgrade in the near future :-)

Only thing id change is make the main sump bigger

I would change the fact that its built with 1/2" glass, even DC pumps sound extremely loud because the vibrations become stronger through the thick glass.

I would also like to add a section for filter socks and an algae scrubber.
