Very excited to see how this turns out! Hope it all goes well!

-OH WAIT! I see more pages, it turned out amazing! I skipped to page 2, not 17! Awesome build thread! Love the progression shots, and that cave in the middle is very cool!

Wow that's a seriously impressive build. I'm currently starting the process to convert my 180g freshwater tank to a reef tank and this journal definitely gave me some ideas. I just wish I had the space you do for all those sumps, plumbing, etc. I'm going to have to get creative with building some cabinets to store everything.

It has filled in quite nicely! Love the Tenuis even if it's a bad shot. :p

I guess i'm one of those lucky ones that have a supporting wifey. She actually loves the tank. She cooks a lot, so she gets to enjoy it more than i do!

Right now I have a large single chamber PM reactor that I will use until I can afford a nice dual chamber one. Have my eye on a vertex, but i cant seem to find one large enough for my system volume (420 ish gallons). So I was thinking of a super reef octopus CR5000D. Or going crazy and calling avast or GEO's. But who knows. The tank wont be ready for that much calcium for a while.

Also reeeaaaaallllly want a carbon doser regulator system. But man are they expensive!

I tried to bring in a CR8000 and the manufacturer can't seem to fulfill the order. :( Let me know if you find somewhere to bring the 5000 in.

What kind of carbon doser system regulator are you wanting?

They are amazingly accurate. But about $600 to get one here to Calgary lol.
