 I've been looking at pics on the net and from what I see the selago looks more similar to a prostrata or mille than what #26 looks like.

Bean needs our help!!!

I am starting my own "Bean Telethon" but instead of cash donations we are looking for a single person that might be coming tonight that lives on the Southside, that would be able to pick up Beans frags!!!

Together We Can Make Beans Dreams Come True!!!

P.S. Still need ID on #36 (See Above)

I'm not on the south side but if no one else can do it I'll pick up for Lyndsay. I'm sure her & I can arrange a pick up time at some point, I'm always in the city.

fencer 05-27-2009 02:32 PM

I can hold it for Bean if you can't find anybody else....by 3pm

Wayne

Fox 05-27-2009 04:37 PM

So good news...

The frags have arrived. My wife says the hot packs are still warm and she shut them back up (with the exception of ours and Marks)...She did mention that things were a bit stinky tho so cross your fingers!!!

If anyone else needs me to hold for them, please let me know.

So we're a go for tonight eta 5:30 but I suspect I can be there slightly sooner...I will still need to eat at some point in the evening so I would like to make the cut off 7:30...Not set in stone of course...

Please let me know or call me at 780-920-0664 if you are going to come tonight but are going to be later than 7:30. If you don't let me know or call me ahead of time I will assume you cant make it and I will keep them safe in my tank until we can make arrangements to meet.

If anyone needs to make arrangements to have me hold them or someone else to pick them up and let me know who it is if they already haven't.

Does that work for everyone?

Flash 05-27-2009 06:40 PM

I will be there at 5:30

fragalot 05-28-2009 01:21 AM

Bugs??? What kind of bugs?

Flash 05-28-2009 01:25 AM

paddyob 05-28-2009 01:25 AM

Bugs

There will always be pods on coral. regardless of where they come from. i dip all my corals when i get them... since a bad experience. i use seachem Reef Dip. lots came off and died in my dip container. i got one extra frag which is stinky. will die im sure. the other two look fine. So far. Favia Is really nice. im sure the non-stinky zoas Will open today. nice and fat. thanks Brad. you the man! thanks Burc!

Your very welcome. Atlantis zoas has small polyps. I know you really wanted those guys. I hope they are okay.

paddyob 05-28-2009 01:34 AM

Hmmm

Well the small ones are really smelly. not a good sign. you included an extra zoa with big fat stems. not the same i assume? they are not open but look healthy. do you know what the extra was, cause i think the Small ones are going to die.

Flash 05-28-2009 01:35 AM

well perfect then!!! I will fresh water dip them for like 30 and then plop them in after I aclimate them a little more!!!

fragalot 05-28-2009 01:42 AM

I am sure they will be okay. They are tough little guys.. I forgot one frag out of the water almost 45 mins but they opened up next morning. Just in case i will put one frag aside for you if they dont make it please let me know.

Well I hope everyone is happy with how this worked out...

As for my personal corals, I have never tried the stoney corals before (SPS I think?) but I presume if they are white that is not a good sign? Both of mine are almost all white...so I await your answers...hehe but other than that the others look good...cant wait to see them open up...

Burc I will message you when I get more time...Tonight is BOOOOOOOOOOOOKED! HEHEHE...

Landshark, sorry I couldnt stay at Starbucks longer (I waiting till 7:30), if you message me we'll arrange a time to get your corals and me to get my money :P .

Cheers

fencer 05-28-2009 02:38 AM

White = not a good sign..if you see no hint of brown or polyps...also not a good sign. If they are white 24hrs from now...no chance of recovery
