My bags had the stench of death too. Not sure yet if all are okay or not. I'll see how they look tomorrow after work. I also notice that I did not get one of my zoo's(not sure which yet) but there was something else instead and I have no clue what it is yet.

I have one frag of zoas that hasn't opened yet.... so I am hoping they are the red ones I haven't seen yet... lol!

:p Long day at work, I mis-counted :lol: I got all my zoo's(think I mis-counted cause one was off the frag) the unkown is an extra(Thanks Burc:biggrin:). Hmmmmm, interesting, I wonder what it is.

I got one that I didn't order so far.... #74 the 10-15 header is totally wrong... it's almost beige with green middles.... not green/blue-green as pictured.... #70 is there... I think # 67 as well... but the other two won't open.... a little sad about the #74... it was the first one I saw and loved :( or well.. you live and learn!

I wouldn't worry yet, give them a little more time. The frag could change color a bit ( might be the different lighting) or one of the frags that haven't opened yet could be the one that you are really looking for.

I had to frag full colony. It was huge colony so some of the polyps from sides. That zoas ( radiactive dragon eye ) loves light. Put them under high light area and let me know how they look in 2 weeks ;)

No worries, there's always next time. All of mine seem to be doing well except the #5 all that is left now is a skeleton. :cry: On the other hand the zoas look pretty darn good. Thanks again Doo and Burc :biggrin:

For me, I have only had one zoa open, the other two are still turtled, but I'm hopeful.

#23, I think was DOA, It is gray and no polyps visible.
#45, Has no sign of green, I think it cross-shipped with #44
#61, had to be re-glued, but is open
#70, still turtled
#71, looks good
#83, still turtled

Sigh... I'll give them a few more days before I judge.

i have 2 for sure third i,ll know better later.

So, only two survivors, 61 & 71. Disappointing.

2.4 #83 and #62 dead for sure... I have one that only 1 of the heads opens on... but the big cluster I have is doing great so is another one...

My torch, mushroom and candycane corals that I added the same night as well are doing fantastic..

I am glad to hear that the candy and torch are doing well - keep in mind the ride from my tank to your is a lot shorter :)

I am sorry to hear that some frags did not make it...

Burc mentioned that we should report the DOAs - just drop him a PM, he is good about looking after this stuff...

I know that if I send him pics and ask, he'll give store credit, but I don't see myself using the credit, so it is just a loss. This is my third go at mail-order frags, and so far, my success rate is too low to keep trying.
