Your frags look immaculate. The color is downright amazing and you took some excellent photos to showcase your extremely colorful SPS collection. Thanks for sharing!

Wow...thank you for the kind words. I still have a long way to go to be at the same level as guys like BBlinks, Shrimp and Ricereef. Mikepclo's old thread.Check those tanks out too. Seen them all in person and they are nothing short of inspirational.

Turn those frags into colonies and we're talking Tank of the Month material for sure.

What is that Avast marine reactor you got in your sump?

hunggi74 02-16-2017 07:26 AM

It's a Spyglass media reactor. Design was supposed to help with the tumbling of media better. I don't think it does. Even with their recommended pump I find if I fill too much biopellets they stop tumbling. It is very easy to clean though as the whole centre cone comes right out of the water and you remove old media and add new media in all without even having to turn off the pump if you chose not to. I don't need a lot of BP so I'm fine with this reactor at this time.

So...a certain somebody got fed up with my lolly gagging and took it upon hisself to put the Laguna pump into a BK Mini 180 that I had. Thank you BBlinks! Thanks again too Apexfid for letting me use your shelf leg. Whatever did you replace the BK with? Yes, some people on here use BK skimmers in the most creative ways...
