I believe it is, does it have adjustable screws in the corners? Was the guy you got if from Neil?

Coralgurl 01-28-2012 04:23 AM

Yup it does.

I thought I recognized it right down to the crappy shrink wrap job  Congrats on being the proud owner of a Grizz stand :thumb:

I was hoping it was one of yours! Yes crappy shrink wrap job left lovely patterns in the paint, but I know it was rushed! It's unique

Ya I got a little preoccupied with some other stuff, had the stand built but not painted yet. I usually like to let the paint set for 2 days but it wasn't an option so it was only overnight.

Coralgurl 01-29-2012 01:58 AM

I picked up some latex paint, cleaned the glass with rubbing alcohol and started painting. I just finished the third coat and the paint looks like it's crackling. I can see it on the other side of the glass, looks like wrinkles, but can't see through it. Did I do something wrong? It's been 8 hours between 2nd and 3rd coats. If the paint will hold I won't worry about it, but worried it will peel over time.

Thanks

Coralgurl 01-29-2012 02:09 AM

I'll wait and see what it does....grrr

Picked up plumbing supplies today but didn't start bec of the paint.

The Grizz 01-29-2012 02:13 AM

I use a Rustolium spray paint to do the back of tanks, clean glass with straight vinegar & razor blade first. I have tried latex paint but it usually looks like crap.
