Finished the all important egg create on top of the overflow (however I'm sure the little gobies who will first be living in this tank will find their way though :mmph:)
http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/i...g/DSC_0271.jpg Made some egg create stands. One for the pump to sit on (hose for the pump was a few inches to short to reach the bottom) http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/i...g/DSC_0268.jpg one for the skimmer http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/i...g/DSC_0269.jpg skimmer taking a vinegar bath http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/i...g/DSC_0272.jpg |
Did a power out situation (I don't have the loc-line pieces I need to raise the water level higher) to make sure the sump wouldn't over flow, needless to say I have an inch to spare, cutting it close though.

Added salt
http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/i...g/DSC_0277.jpg Which raised the water level a lot more then I thought it would. The black line is where the water level was, and I drew an arrow to show where the level rose to. http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/i...g/DSC_0278.jpg |
Looks nice it's coming together! Is that a marineland tank? looks like it... they're nice.
As for the stand for the return pump... I've plumbed my last 2 tanks with the return pump dangling from the piping so the bottom doesn't touch the glass. Helped a lot with noise levels on my eheim 1262 and well... my current laguna pond pump doesn't have a flat base anyways lol. |

Not sure what brand of tank it is. I bought it from another canreef member. I'll check it when I'm at home and see if it says anything on the tank. |
