This is so true !

That is exactly why Al Gore fired his chief scientist.
Poor guy had guts to disagree with Al Gore

You should have watched Fifth Estate last night !! ALL of the global warming debunkers are paid by the oil companies and encouraged by a lazy uninvestigative press.
With regard to the British judge , if the full report was printed it would show that in fact he said that the movie was mostly accurate and supported by substantial scientific research .
The naysayers have zero credibility and are not supported by ANY current scientific studies ....................

The 5th estate is a CBC show. The CBC is the state-funded (read my tax dollars funded) network. I do not appreciate my tax dollars funding the CBC with its inherent left-wing biases.

I am not arguing global worming, as I stated before all the planets in our solar system are worming up.
What I am saying is that humans are not the main reason for it.
We can argue until the cosmic cows come home about the reasons and who is paying for what, but why don’t we try to come up with solution rather then feeding our own ego trying to prove our point?

Perhaps alternative energy is a good way to go?

BTW check THIS  out regarding the mercury in vaccines !

And we were thinking it was banned !
In fact it has 4 times more mercury right now ( 250 ppm’s.)
Scary but Alex Jones may be on to something after all.

President Bush is to veto a bill that would ban mercury in flu vaccines for children despite its known links to autism and other neurological disorders and despite the fact that he pledged in 2004 to support such a move when campaigning for re-election.

The White House stated on Tuesday that President
Bush would veto the FY 2008 HHS-Labor-Education Appropriations Bill because of the cost and "objectionable provisions" such as a measure to ban the use of childhood flu vaccines that contain thimerosal, a mercury-based preservative, a press release from Autism advocacy group Safe Minds on the PRNewswire-USNewswire states.

Bush is calling for an amendment that would remove the children's safety provision from the bill

The mercury in vaccine issue is very similar to the global warming issue in one way.

Mercury in vaccine has never been proven to cause any harm. Specifically, when you compare rates of autism in countries with thimerosal (mercury-based preservative) in their vaccine versus autism rates in countries with mercury-free vaccines, there is no relation between mercury exposure through vaccines and the autism rate. When you compare the autism rates over time before and after mercury has been removed from vaccines in a given country, there is no decrease in the autism rate. However mercury is known to be highly toxic and because some of the effects of mercury may be long-term effects which are not easily measured or observed, it is only sensible to avoid mercury in vaccines when there are less toxic alternatives.

Similarly there has been no proof that greenhouse gases cause global warming. However common sense tells us to minimize the amount of pollutants we are dumping into the atmosphere.

Two different issues, same theme, same conclusion. Avoid what is toxic if we have alternatives.

I just watched it, it's available on their site. You obviously didn't.

They reported facts.

I guess like Stephen Colbert says "Facts have a known left wing bias."
