Ya I was the one who picked up the tank. The move was not so bad, bunch of guys and we rolled it out on skateboards...

monza 01-13-2009 04:28 AM

Photos of the aquarium

Well folks, I can't seem to add photos to the thread, so I created an album:

http://canreef.com/vbulletin/album.php?albumid=41

I made it public, so if this link doesn't work, you should be able to get into it through general means. Please let me know if this doesnt work, as I would like to share these with you. The photos are in reverse timeline, so start at the last one (#1) and work your way back. I included a narrative with each photo to explain my madness. This project took me two years, and was 95% complete when we sold the house. I devoted a lot of my life to this project, and it was hard to leave it behind. It broke my heart to learn it was destroyed, but I completely understand. It needed to be completed, and I think it may have been too much of an undertaking. I learnt a lot, and have since completed other aquariums (not as large). If anyone has any questions, please feel free to email me, because I probably learnt from a mistake during this project.

This may not be the aquarium mentioned in this thread, but I have a gut feeling.....
