Trying hard to snap, Loose it right now... heh.

woke up from a brief nap to find the tank water cloudy, with signs of sump playing on the floor around the tank.

neitehr 2 year old or 5 year old can tell me what happened to the tank or admit that either one of them or the cat played in it.

I hope it was not something lethal..

Hah I did snap loose it.. i just found out why the tank was cloudy.

someone took an empty 5 gallon tank. put it on their work bench<which is commonly called his fish tank where he takes anything i need from the tank and hides it> and took 5-10 pounds of live rubble out of the sump and let it sit there since yesterday. in his "sump", drying and dying.

do i dare put it back into my sump? there were some nice little pieces in there, probably have to cook it now?

Live rock is shipped out of water .. it's basically gone through a slightly longer "really low tide." There will be some die off for sure but if your tank is large enough with enough other rock then it should be able to absorb the spike..

I am more afraid of what might have been put in with it than the drying out. I just filled the tank they put it in with salt water to give it a few hours...chill out time. If only I could do the same to.the kids.

Though I'm on a posting hiatus, I felt this was worth sharing.

3:47am my phon rings as I'm leaving for work. But being half asleep atill I sent it to voicemail by accident. When I got to work I checked the message.

"hi I'm calling in regards to some frags you have for sale on canreef.. yadayada blah blah..."
Funny thing is I only posted one thread with my phone number in it and that was maybe 6 months ago. Other funny thing, its 3:47 in the frickin morning! Wth?! You couldnt pm me instead?

Who ever you are, I wont bw returning your call and if I do, your not going to like what i have to say.

That's ridiculous.

Posting hiatus resumed. Lol.

I think there should be a rule that if you have less then 4 years of Canadian driving experience they shouldn't let you on the deerfoot.
