I'll try to clarify it:
we have the splitters YL2-1 and YL2-2.5, one is 1m long, the other is 2.5m
They have the same function: Just double the ports, no crossover
The splitters are suitable for lighting and pump control
If you want to connect two controllable pumps on one port (eg L1L2) you need: 1 splitter, 1 cable ProfiLux<->Tunze1 (the pump connected over this cable will react on L1) and 1 cable Profilux<->Tunze2 (reacts on L2)

Thanks for the explanation matthias we have the same confusions in the UK.

That explains it perfectly. Thank you. Do you guys sell a Y crossover adapter or is this something that we would have to buy locally at one of our electronic stores? This would be for stuff other than the Tunze's such as two LED lights, or a light and the fans, etc.

Bump.

yes raul7, the controller will do that. at any set time you would like it to.

Thanks. But is there a risk the optical sensor can fail (for example, piece of debris covers it or algae) and then overflow the tank?

Hello Matthias, I am not able to connect via wireless connection, only via cable. I have read all the instructions everyone has provided and I am really confused about what I am doing! Will it be any easier to get a wireless connection with version 3.03 or maybe you have some very clear and easy step by step instructions that are not so confusing to follow.

Many thanks...

monitors-direct 05-31-2007 06:51 PM

I know step by step instructions are on the way.

But in 10 days I will be in canada and my first Job (GHL wise) will be to set up wireless on our test/demo unit.

Ok so why am i telling you this? Well I know as much about networks as i do about brain surgery, so my method is to learn the hard way, write everything down and then publish how i did it on here for you guys, and I hope from that I may unravel some of the answers. BUT I do know Matthias is also working very hard on making the whole WLAN set up more straightforward also.

WISH ME LUCK!

Good Luck!! I wish you better success than I have had!

Hi all,

I also just bought the ProfiLux Plus II and trying to set up the WLAN connection to my PC and no success.

How do I start? and where can I look for my IP address?
This controller seem to be very difficulty to set up compare tothe others.

Thanks for any help.

Until version 3.3 is launched I think it requires an elelment of good IT knowledge but the new releases due very soon will make it so much easier.

One thing to note and I think this statement is very accurate and also shows a level of care from the manufacturers. matthias has not yet failed in getting one single client connected as far as i am aware. If you want help in getting up and running please either contact me at support@ghl-profilux.com or contact Matthias directly, to be honest at present Matthias will be your best bet, he wil baby step you through it im sure

Hi

i hoped that version 3.02 could make it easy to establish the WLAN-connection.
I am writing the version 3.03 (ProfiLuxControl & firmware) with new extensions regarding LAN/WLAN at the moment. Please give me some more days for that job.
3.03 is coming soon.
