I would gladly pay ten percent more rather than having to deal with sh++ty service!!

Myka 11-27-2011 11:02 PM

So I was just looking at my Melanurus Wrasse that has recently started changing from female to male. Well, I'll be darned if it isn't a Grey Headed Wrasse instead! The females look very similar. That just added an inch and a half to the fish.

fishoholic 11-28-2011 01:30 AM

Watching "The walking dead" first time I've seen it. There's a marathon of season two on today, must say it's been good and intense.

Madreefer 11-28-2011 01:34 AM

Ya it's a good one. All the cable shows are cool. Strikeback is another good one.

Leah 11-28-2011 01:45 AM

Watched it for the first time too. I'd feed my baby to the zombies... can't see why she won't.

fishoholic 11-28-2011 01:46 AM

Ya a few people I know went on about how good the walking dead is, so I figured I'd finally get around to watching it.

That's unfortunate for her. Here I thought you were decent.

gregzz4 11-28-2011 09:03 AM

Oh my lord...
You plains people are so accustomed to the snow...shame on you.
You're complaining about some snow. Isn't that what you get from Oct to Mar?
I grew up in B.C. and learned how to drive in the snow and, when it happened, it was fun. Sometimes we don't get much here, and not enough for my liking but, I couldn't imagine a winter without some snow.
And so you know I respect snow...I spent a winter @ my Aunt's in Prince George where we had 13', yes I said 13 FEET of snow that covered the deck. Us kids tried to go into it from the basement but were stopped. Would have been a cool tunnel expedition (until we were crushed by the snow)

Most people here can't drive in it...must be the Import problems...with their cars I mean...

reefwars 11-28-2011 02:05 PM

about 15yrs ago we got a huge snowstorm back home the next morning i went to open the door and when i did there was nothing but a wall of snow with the imprint of the door stuck to it completely , in order to get out and shovel i had to shovel most of the snow into the house just to crawl out and start to shovel it all outside, later that day after it was all said and done i had 15ft banks of sno on either side of my driveway.....talk about a sore back lol.....theres no snow out here on the flats...plenty of cold but you guys dont know snow lol;)

reefwars 11-28-2011 02:07 PM

my grandfather has pics of when he was growing up and in one pic the snow goes right up to the roof wwhere the gables start....now thats a snow fall lol

It makes it hard to finish a huge Husky kennel when it is blowing in your face. I can drive in the worst storms, it the idiots that can drive on the nicest of day that I am scared of.

That sucks, but you're right at least you got the tank up and running first.

Delphinus 11-29-2011 01:57 AM

That could be seen as a problem lol. It's not the end of the world it just means reigning in the spending. thankfully all the large expenses are done. by my estimates i'm committed to roughly $175/month to keep her going (chems, power, bulbs you name it).

I will hook myself if need be.

Some lessons you don't even know exist until you really 'blast the fish crap all over the wall'. Figuratively speaking of course.

Actually, I was cleaning my skimmer cup but didn't have room to fit it in my messy laundry tub so had it angled and resting on the lip of the tub. I meant to first just spray down the INSIDE of the cup. Trouble is the spray connected for a split second with the thick goo in the neck area and COVERED the floor and wall!

That was some lesson!
