You know what though?

All frags are readily available from my suppliers. So they can be ordered for future purchases.

Over the year I have made so many new contacts, I couldn't use them all.

Enuff said, time to chill out for the night.

The Grizz 09-09-2012 02:37 AM

Kick back, have a tall cool one & chill ken, see you tomorrow

My 13 year old daughter will be attending. She isn't a reefer yet, just in the learning stages so far. (She currently has 2 freshwater tanks.)

Good to see, that's the future in reefing.

That's why I take time to speak and donate to schools.

Thanks Ken for an awesome day! It was good to see everyone out and sell off a bunch of our mushrooms, Kenya trees and GSP. Just wish I could have gotten some blue eyes blondes while we were there.

Thank you Ken for a great event! It was my first Salty event and I loved it!! I will totally be in attendance for the next one!

Jeontai 09-09-2012 11:21 PM

Awesome event Ken, I cannot wait for the next one. Managed to get myself a few new pieces and thin the wallet out even more.

Are we going to get a list of who won what for the raffle?

Top-dogg 09-09-2012 11:35 PM

Thank you so much ken for this event. I finally Got the Zoa's I've been looking for while now. I definitely would come again.

reefgirl189 09-10-2012 12:03 AM

Sorry I missed most of you, I didn't end up making it there until around 2:30 but I still got what I came for despite missing the morning rush. Thanks Ken for the great event and it was nice seeing you and the awesome staff again!

frag fest

Thank you for fantastic hospitality Ken, the event was great.

ALang 09-10-2012 12:13 AM

Thank you, Ken and staff at BWA, for putting on another winner of FF4. We had great fun meeting everyone, and a chance to sell and also acquire new frags to try out!! Store looked awesome and tons of great stuff with rock-bottom prices! Feeling so sorry for those of you who missed it this year.

BlueWorldAquatic 09-10-2012 12:34 AM

Thank you for all attending, it's you that make the event great, and better every year.

I would like to send out a big thank you to my staff and all the volunteers that rolled up their sleeves for us. There are too many to thank, you all know I appreciate your help.

To the vendors, thank you for attending. I am happy to see more and more of you every year. Thank you for the door prizes. A big thank you to the following for your donations.

Here is a list of the sponsors/vendors, please support them as much as you can. Not in any particular order, and I apologies if I missed anyone.

M&M Meats Millwoods for the burgers
Esquire - Mike Enns
ORA
Reef Wholesale
Red Coral Edmonton
Marine Aquaria
Aquarium Illusions
Hong Kong Bakery
Modular LED
Let's Play

We had a total of 25 door prizes. I will be posting the winners tomorrow, as I am too tuckered right now. The prizes were randomly numbered 1-25, and the tickets were picked by different individuals not knowing what the prizes were to make it as fair as possible.

Here is to FFV-2013

Ken

btymens 09-10-2012 12:38 AM

Thanks to Ken and everyone who made this event happen. However, now I have buyers' remorse! Meaning and I hope there is some one out there who can help me. Today, there was a vendor selling some rock outside in the parking lot by the "Kg" at $5. I saw some nice pieces but in the end didn't get any. So now I'm like why didn't I get one or two rock etc.. If anyone know who this guy is or if you are the guy, send me you info please because I would like to get some rock from you
thanks
Bruce

I dont think anyone was really thinking of pics, I think we were all in shock of the AMAZING weather we got but it DID happen & you missed it Brad. AND you can't say it would be to far away since Esquire came down from Yellowknife just to attend

BlueWorldAquatic 09-10-2012 03:52 AM

I wish I could have taken pictures, but everytime I had a spare moment I was pulled in 4 different directions.

I'm sure someone got some

Usually I am the someone who ends up taking and posting pic's of this event (I did the past 3 times) but I was so busy talking to everyone and looking at everything that I totally forgot  Sorry guys!

It was a blast like always and I even got some cool stuff too

HaZRaTTy 09-10-2012 04:26 AM

Thanks for the event Ken.

Thanks for the awesome weather....

and Please no FF5 - I don't want to spend anymore money.. Please please.. Well just don't be so out on advertising it hahaha.

BlueWorldAquatic 09-10-2012 05:00 AM

What a mess to clean up, should have it cleaned up in a few days.

I'll extend the sales for everything for the rest of the week for anyone that missed out. There might be even a few suprises, as I need to reorganize the tanks.

Thanks again for all that helped and attended. It was a blast.

Ken

Oilers 09-10-2012 02:32 PM

We thought of that in the past, but it would be middle of winter and wouldn't need to be hosted indoors.

Sorry for the delay in posting of the draw winners. Will be posted shortly as I do not have the list with me.

MarkoD 09-10-2012 06:00 PM

Freshwater people have an auction twice a year at the high park community center. That could totally be doable with frags.

It fits at least 200 people

BlueWorldAquatic 09-10-2012 06:35 PM

What a difference a day makes, it looks horrible out here today.

We got lucky.
