hahaha nice try but thats an old tank lol i may go buy a crappy old point and shoot camera today and take some pics, i have a fuji film but its old and discontinued and i am fighting to get good pics with it i do use a tri pod with it but all my pics come out dark/blue or spotty....my camera does let me adjust the white balance but the rest of the settings are pretty basic and taking fts shots always come out dull, it seems like if i zoom in its fuzzy and you cant make out whats in the tank and thats from only 4ft away....my close ups dont com out bad but they have to be really close and on the tri pod lol heres a example and i guess a fts too lol http://i924.photobucket.com/albums/a...g?t=1327164093 as you can see everything looks so far away you cant make out any of my coral, for example the carpet is around 20" in diameter, the frog on the left is the size of a large grapefruit, the elegance on the far left is around 12-14" in length and swells pretty big......but yet they seem so tiny and so blurry lol we will see if i can get any better shots with a cheap newer camera:p |
Pic looks good to me! I like the new tank better.

im my own worst critic im sure lol it just bugs me because the tank looks great in person no algae all my corals are growing and colors are great, my fuge is doing incredible.....and i have no proof to show off and the pics just dont do it justice at all lol i guess i could photoshop and see if it helps but then its not quite natural feels like cheating lol thanks buddy:) |

I like the new tank. It looks like you have a lot of room for a few big tangs in there but how come there is no fish ?? |
Quote:
not a big fish fan to be honest lol i already think i have to many i think im gonna get rid of a few, more so the aggesive ones . i am looking for some coral in particular mailny a large duncan, and some nice colourful plates and scolys plus another large nem :P |
The "16.5" soon to be retired. as you can see this is why I havent shared any photos! I figured since its getting transferred into the 35 soon, might as well post a so long FTS of it. Hopefully in the new tank I'll be able to get the hang of this "making things look nice" thing lol.

http://i488.photobucket.com/albums/r...k/IMG_0985.jpg My FOWLR + some softies started in about 2004. I have been tempted in the past to upgrade the lights and equipment so I can keep more but in the end what I have has worked so far and the maintenance is fairly easy so I keep my fingers crossed and enjoy what I have. |

Love the tank but I think the idea is to post a FTS and not a dozen close ups. There are other places you could post such things.

BioCube29
Excuse the microbubbles, having an issue with my Tunze 9002 Skimmer.
Pics were taken January 16th, the Tank is about 1 year old. I have since then picked up a wack of SPS frags and have moved all the Zoa's into my daughter's little Skimz IBOX Pico tank. I'll post those ones up after the frags get settled in. Front View http://i1224.photobucket.com/albums/...e/IMG_7562.jpg Right Side The 5" Yellow Tang has been traded in for a small 2" now. I love the Tangs and have a deal with my LFS that I raise them to a decent size and then trade them back in for small ones. Don't judge me! Loving the LED look Greg, the Metal halide seems to wash out the coral color but those LED's are freaking CRISP!
Btw how big is that beasty of a Sailfin? |
