Very nice. I wish I had the room in my apartment for a tank this size!

The big als in Edmonton seems a lot nicer then the one in Calgary and I've always had pretty good luck there.

I was very happy to find my starfish, still can't believe how far he went. I did notice while I was watch TV that he was by my overflow :twised:, meant to move him away from it but I forgot, here's hoping he doesn't go on another travel!

Thanks the little angel is super cute. He has blue lines/pattern on his fins which looks really cool but it's hard to get a pic. of.

The green pally is a nuclear green pally (got it from Blue world) and looks greener in person but for some odd reason it looks brownish in the picture. No idea why :noidea:

fishoholic 12-07-2011 11:59 PM

:mmph: just googled nuclear green paly's and was talking to Doug, and Dawn you might be right, they may not be nuclear green paly's, which is annoying because that is what they were sold to me as

Wall hammer coral

Another maxi mini nem that I got a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately it's in a hard to veiw spot. It's got a lightish green rim around the edge, then purple, then dark dark green in the centre.

Hey David.....that one is a fromia milleporella....... If I remember correctly, I bought the starfish at BAs.....that was a month or two ago so I cant say if they still have any or not.

Well next time they have some pick up a few extra & I will buy them from you. Everytime I go looking at the LFS there is nothing that I want & it gets frustrating:frusty:

I actually have two purpleish ones that are fairly similar, if you want this one
http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/i...0/DSC_0194.jpg
you can buy if from me next time your in Edmonton. Also I'll send you a text as I'm going to BW today and can pick up some more mini's from BA if you'd like since I'll be in that area.

The Grizz 12-10-2011 03:59 PM

Cool shoot me a text if there's anything sweet. How much do they usually cost Laurie?

fishoholic 12-12-2011 01:07 AM

I bought a Tek T5 light from Steve at RC and put it over the 80g. So much nicer looking with a bright light over the tank. I also moved the cheato and mangroves back into the sump and added some rock to fill up the space.

http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/i...0/DSC_0330.jpg

http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/i...0/DSC_0339.jpg

I also went to Blue World and Ken switched the pally I had with a real nuclear green pally. I put it in my 10g with my frogfish along with some other new zoas.

While I was out I saw this royal pencil wrasse at big als and ended up bringing him home. Extra bonus he's eating like a pig

http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/i...0/DSC_0329.jpg

fishoholic 12-12-2011 01:13 AM

Also had some maxi mini's follow me home

The 2 newest ones (Had Grizz in mind when I picked them up but I must admit I really like them  me thinks me {or more likely Doug} will need to learn how to frag them)

http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/i...0/DSC_0331.jpg

The orangey one I got a week ago

http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/i...0/DSC_0332.jpg

My purplely one that's in a hard to take a pic of spot

http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/i...0/DSC_0338.jpg

and the 1st one I ever got

 Doug has a frag tool kit he's going to be visiting just after Christmas so let me know which ones you like and we'll frag them and see how it goes. It's supposed to be the same as fraging ric's (which Doug has done) so we should be able to work something out.

When I was at big als on the weekend they had a few of those orange star fish left.

Very nice growth there. Is much of that skeleton as well? Mine forms heads at A decent rate but the actual structure grows painfully slow.

Yes there is a good skeleton to it too. It's a little smaller then the size of a baseball.
