Consider it done. Last time I saw your tank, you were just starting to set it up.

Sorry when I did the math I must have put 40" but to go to decimal point... If you tank the inside dimensions of the tank it holds less water. I would agree more with 125 gallon then 124.67 as the later states an exact amount, where as, 125 is an approximate, or 120-110 would be even closer depending on the size of the glass. For example my tank has outside dimensions give my tank a "displacement" volume of 364.68 But the inside dimensions are closer to 320 gallons. I guess most aquarium manufactures like to make their tanks sound bigger so they put the displacement volume rather then the volume they can hold... /end rant. Sorry about that, I' just jealous of the life in your tank.

hey no problem....thanks for looking:smile:

The Grizz 03-06-2011 12:44 AM

Most big box retailers probably just use the outside dimension and then round up making the tank sound bigger for sure.

Tanks looking good Derrick. Are you dosing any additives? Mg, Calcium or trace elements?

I recently picked up a Profilux 2ex controller and hope to get a GHL 4 pump dosing set-up as well. Just cant seem to keep my levels up to par without a lot of work.

Ya I here ya man, do you find them easy to operate, or do you have to be a scientist to run them?

I found it to be fairly easy, I downloaded the PC program and just played around with it. Slickfork as one as well so getting help with it is easy.

Improved colors and growth are really apparent looking at the old and now the new. Things are progressing very nicely. Do you have a new FTS too?

I really like the flow of the land you've got there... nice and natural it looks great man.

That green digi is like a plague I find. If yours is anything like mine it will fill your tank and encrust every last square inch if given the chance! Annoyingly enough mine usually wins sps battles where they occur if the other sps is not a digi.

Your saramentosa looks awesome too. Mine's just a little guy I'm looking forward to a colony sized piece like yours.

Trocar61 01-11-2012 07:47 PM

Thanks man, as far as that digi it has taken a long time to mature very slow process, but my saramentosa it is a very fast grower would like to start fragging it soon its getting pretty big.
