I figured a 9 footer was meant for a 9 foot ceiling. We only have to bend the top branch down a little bit :)

I came home one day in mid to late november and my wife says "I put up the christmas tree today". I'm like serious? Apparently she had one of the neighbour girls come over and help her assemble and decorate it while I was at work.

I'm slowly getting cut out of the holiday decorating :)

Looks like someone took in the festival of trees this year?

Theme trees. My wife asked me to go.... so many trees like this... and so many trees with $$$$$.

Nice work.

We have a sloped roof in our living room and as luck would have it where the wife put the tree is where it's almost 12'. I ordered it from Treetopia in California & it was delivered in a week to my door.

Been a few years since I put one up indoors. Artificial tree gathering dust in the basement. It actually has some cool light transmitting plastic fibers with colour changing device. Tips of the plastic fibers glow with continually changing colours. Don't have a photo handy of that though.

Last year I decorated a blue spruce in my front yard. Must get on that for this year though, or I'll be too late. Time flies. Have a small ceramic tree to get at least a little xmassy inside.

Here's a night photo of last year's effort. You should be able to see the ceramic job thru the living room window.

Here's one I liked a few years ago, but wasn't carrying the required hardware & too far to carry home. Besides, I think it's inside a park boundary. Not to mention it was Feb & way past xmas.
