Well with some good advise from Brad ( Aquattro ) I have decided to just get a Gmail account, now I just have to get Gmail to forward to my main e-mail or get it to send to my phone itself.

Email notification for what? I have never got an email notification for anything on this site. I'm not complaining at all, I dont want any notifications.

Got to User CP at the top of the page, when it opens you will see all the options on the left.

OK so here's the deal for anyone else having this issue:

1. Get a Gmail account
2. Have it forward all messages to your main e-mail
3. Change your e-mail address on CanReef to the new Gmail account
4. Receive your notification

Worked for me & was much easier then dealing with the whole IPS, blacklist, whitelist and so on.

Did not want ANOTHER e-mail address & it's just not my IPS that is having issues, I don't think the others that are having the same problem are on Platinum Communication because it a rural services.

Seriously, nobody uses their ISP email accounts, stop using that one now that you have a cool gmail account!! Probably easier to sync with your phone, remote calendar, etc :)

Hello,

It doesn't necessarily have to be the same company. I can do more digging around but all companies use one kind of decision rules one way or another, and it can be based on content, IP, external rating, etc. Essentially the issue is most non public e-mail service providers will not pass everything like Hotmail, Gmail, etc.
