when I hear that "meteorite the size of a volkswagen" comment, I always think of those really crusty old ones that probly weighed a ton and were super boxy looking. They usually come in yellow and are convertibles for some reason (in my mind :razz:)

A Thing! Or, to be more purist, a "Type 181." VERY cool cars. :cool:

I'd love to pick one of those. Or a late '60s Karmann Ghia, both of those are my favourite veedubs. The Thing would be considerably easier to do body work on .... seeing as there are no curved surfaces :lol:

Christy is only 5 away from 1200 now.. wow she's really gained ground.... lol

When (each time) I've been in hawaii you can see Things running around everywhere. Cool cars but the karman Ghia is one of the coolest little Dubs around.. fwiw I had a 62 Beetle, 1835cc dual carbs etc.. could do wheelies.. what a fun car.
